Job description

Job Title: Lead Engineer, Quality Operating Systems

We invite you to join the Entegris Quality Operating Systems team as a Lead Engineer, Quality Operating Systems where you can lead the development and improvement of our quality system processes, inspire cross-functional teams, and champion operational excellence in a dynamic, face-paced environment. Your expertise in quality systems and process optimization will drive meaningful change in how quality is defined and achieved at Entegris, enabling the manufacturing of advanced semiconductor devices around the world.

What you'll do:
  • Drive quality management system improvement at the Entegris Colorado Springs, CO facilities in partnership with Operations, Quality, and Engineering as a member of the North America Quality Operating Systems team at Entegris
  • Identify, diagnose, and propose solutions to quality system needs at Colorado Springs through collaborative discussion with cross-functional team members, review of metrics/KPIs, internal audits/assessments, hands-on observations, and structured problem-solving tools
  • Guide cross-functional leaders, process owners, and corrective action (CAPA) assignees in their quality system journey, empowering them to adopt best practices and raise quality management system (QMS) maturity
  • Lead quality system audit activities including conducting internal QMS audits across Entegris sites and coordinating site ISO 9001, customer audits at our 2 Colorado Springs manufacturing plants
  • Lead and/or contribute to global quality system projects to increase process performance and elevate quality standards across Entegris worldwide
  • Demonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork (exemplify Entegris PACE values)
What we seek:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with significant involvement in Quality Management System, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering activities
  • Passion and history of success in collaborative problem‑solving to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong initiative, organizational skills, and follow‑through
  • Ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, and influence cross‑functional teams
  • Experience working with colleagues virtually.
  • Working knowledge of engineering tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8D Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards
  • Internal auditor experience and/or certification preferred
