Job Summary

TheBusiness Development Manageris anoutside sales positionresponsible foridentifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities whilemaintainingstrong relationships with existing clients.
You will engage directly with decision-makers to understand their technology challenges, recommend tailored IT solutions, and communicate Century's value through a consultative, customer-focused sales approach.
This role requires a balance of strategic relationship-building, pipeline management, and strong business acumen to meet sales goals and contribute to Century's continued growth. Can expect to earn 40-50k estimated per year in commission sales.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Development

  • Identifyand pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
  • Meet with business leaders and decision-makers to assess needs and proposetechnologysolutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Present Century's full suite of IT services, including managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and infrastructure support.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets in both revenue and profitability.
  • Manage the full sales cycle-from prospecting to contract negotiation and close.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, ensuringsatisfactionandidentifyingopportunities foradditionalservices.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degreein Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ yearsof experience in IT sales, business development, or channel management.
  • Provensuccessmanaging the full sales cycle and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, managed solutions, SaaS products, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiencyin CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
