Position Summary

The HR Coordinator, Systems & Talent supports day-to-day HR operations, recruitment coordination, HR systems administration, and workforce reporting. This role works closely with the HR team and internal stakeholders to help maintain efficient HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, data management, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

The Coordinator also supports efforts to improve HR workflows, maintain accurate systems and documentation, and enhance the employee and candidate experience through collaboration, operational support, and continuous improvement efforts.

This is a hybrid position based in Washington, DC.


Primary Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Operations

  • Support day-to-day recruitment operations, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
  • Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Coordinate and process background checks and reference checks.
  • Serve as an operational liaison between HR and divisions during internship hiring cycles, providing process coordination and support to hiring managers.
  • Maintain recruitment documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Partner within Talent Acquisition to improve candidate experience and recruitment processes.

HR Systems & SharePoint Management

  • Support the maintenance of HR SharePoint site architecture.
  • Support the centralization of HR documentation and the development of SOP libraries to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Assist in optimizing ADP HR modules (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, performance, and reporting), ensuring accurate data entry, system configuration, and effective utilization of platform capabilities.
  • Optimize ATS workflows and ensure data accuracy.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Support the development and maintenance of talent dashboards and pipeline reports.
  • Support HR reporting, workforce data tracking, and performance-related processes by assisting with dashboards, maintaining data accuracy, and helping identify trends and process improvement opportunities.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, and implementation of operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the HR and IT teams to build automated workflows using Power Automate/Forms.
  • Support HR initiatives related to automation, AI, and process innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve employee lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition coordination, HR operations, HR systems administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting recruitment processes, applicant tracking systems (ATS), onboarding, and HR operations workflows.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now or similar systems preferred.
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Teams required. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Forms, or workflow automation tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records, analyze data, and support reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

NED Total Compensation

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $ 21.87- $31.61 per hour.

The salary for this position is determined based on a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to an individual’s professional experience, qualifications, education, and other business needs along with internal equity considerations. Employees are not typically hired at the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are based on the aforementioned circumstances.
