Job Responsibilities:
Scope of Position
  • The Systems Coordinator provides administrative, organizational, and technical support to the Quality & Operating Systems Manager. This position is responsible for coordinating quality system activities, maintaining controlled documentation, supporting internal and external audits, tracking quality metrics, and helping ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, customer-specific requirements, and other applicable standards.
  • The Systems Coordinator works closely with Quality, Engineering, Production, HSE, Logistics, and other departments to maintain effective operating systems, support continuous improvement, and ensure required documentation, audits, training, and corrective actions are completed accurately and on time.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Quality, Business, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in quality systems, document control, manufacturing, auditing, or a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of automotive quality standards and systems.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to spelling and grammar.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the Quality Manager.
  • Maintain and control quality, environmental, health & safety, and operating system documentation.
  • Maintain the master document list and ensure current revisions are available at required locations.
  • Remove obsolete documentation and maintain appropriate records.
  • Coordinate and support internal audits, including audit schedules, findings, corrective actions, and closure.
  • Support third-party registration and surveillance audits, including coordination with external registrars.
  • Participate in customer audits and customer visits as required.
  • Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, customer-specific requirements, and other applicable standards.
  • Assist with the development and improvement of Process FMEAs, Control Plans, APQP documentation, and other Core Tools.
  • Perform Control Plan audits and assist process owners in addressing identified gaps.
  • Support Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams in resolving internal and customer-related issues.
  • Assist with responses to internal and external non-conformances.
  • Support Supplier and Customer PPAP gap analysis as required.
  • Monitor customer portals, scorecards, websites, and bulletins and communicate applicable information to responsible personnel.
  • Maintain customer quality ratings and related reporting.
  • Maintain KPI databases and prepare quality performance reports and statistics for management.
  • Coordinate required customer submissions, including MMOG, MSA, assessments, and other customer-specific requirements.
  • Assist with training and development of Quality personnel in Core Tools, including FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and APQP.
  • Update Standard Work Instructions, Set-Up Instructions, Toolroom PM documentation, and other controlled documents resulting from corrective actions or process/product changes.
  • Support management review and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, Production, Logistics, HSE, and other departments to maintain compliance and drive improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
