Job Description & Skills:
HRIS Support Analyst
General Summary: Provides Tier 3 support for all Benefits support issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical and analytical HRIS support for Benefits through direct contact, helpdesk, referrals/emails/voice mails, and interaction with Benefits third party providers.
Support benefits deductions, leave accruals, and other issues that impact associate pay.
Monitor benefits interfaces and ensure feeds are working properly. Develop testing scenarios, report errors to IT, and track appropriately.
Review error logs and transactions to ensure system is working as designed.
Conduct various data audits, including running ad hoc reports which aim to maintain data integrity and troubleshooting systems or data issues.
· Maintain/update all end-user documentation.
· Liaison between customer, technical teams, and Benefits department to facilitate solutions.
· Assist with functional testing and documentation of system enhancements/customizations/upgrades.
Work with users and the HRIS team to implement new business processes, ensuring existing processes are followed, which comply with the HRIS and Benefits guidelines and policy requirements.
· Assist with special projects as required
· Provide backup support to other HRIS Support Analysts
· Adhere to and promote HR/HRIS policies and procedures
Participate in weekly status meetings with the benefits team.
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience / Skills / Abilities:
· Strong knowledge of HR/HRIS practices and procedures
Strong experience of Benefits systems and functional knowledge of Benefits
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Customer Service Skills
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
· Ability to troubleshoot issues and discern when to escalate
· Ability to respond to changing priorities
· Ability to multitask
Basic analytical ability to gather and interpret information and develop, recommend and implement solutions.
Ability to write queries and reports
Essential Qualifications:
· At least 2 years hands-on experience with PeopleSoft, or other HR ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, etc...)
At least 2 years experience working with third party benefits providers (e.g., Hewitt, Metlife, Marsh, etc.)
At least 2 years query/report writing experience
4-year degree or equivalent experience
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
PeopleSoft 8.x experience
