Controller

Location: Mississauga, ON
Hybrid: 3 Days In Office | 2 Days Remote

We're looking for a Controller who is passionate about driving operational excellence, improving processes, and leveraging technology to build a best-in-class finance function.

This is an opportunity for a forward-thinking finance leader who enjoys working in a growing, fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo. If you bring a strong technical accounting foundation, Big 4 experience, and a systems mindset, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure IFRS compliance.
  • Oversee AP, AR, General Ledger, and day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve systems, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and support the accounting team while fostering continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • CPA designation.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Experience gained within a Big 4 accounting firm, combined with industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP is an asset).
  • Proven experience leading month-end close in a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong background in accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Highly tech-savvy with a passion for improving systems and processes.
  • Innovative, proactive, and comfortable driving change.
  • Experience partnering closely with operations to improve business performance.
  • Ability to work onsite in Mississauga three days per week.
