What You'll Do: 

The Machine Operator III is responsible for the operation and performance of automated machinery and equipment to ensure all equipment and machinery perform per intended use. This job requires operation of machinery to meet production output quantity and quality per established acceptability levels. 

  • The Machine Operator III is responsible for safe and efficient running of automated and semi-automated production equipment. This position requires the operator to work independently and under minimal supervision. Can diagnose machine issues and fix it independently or with Technician assistance. 

  • Collaborates in an effective, professional, and courteous manner with other area employees. 

  • Follows detailed machinery operating instructions, processes, and procedures. Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. 

  • Responsible that all appropriate materials are used in production build per product Bill of Material. 

  • As part of conducting assessments of proficiency of trainees, may identify needed changes in training/performance expectations in relation to machinery operations. Actively participates in or leads continuous improvement initiatives as needed. 

  • Responsible for insuring machine is operating within programmed parameters for a consistent output that meet quality/quantity objectives. 

  • Assists Technician in repairing/maintaining equipment as directed. 

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in running an automated/semi-automated equipment. 

  • Training and certification in safe and efficient operation of equipment and tools 

  • Experience working to meet operating standards with pace 

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
