Job Title: Specialist, Integration/Test Engineering (Test Director)

Job Location: Greenville, Texas On-site

Job Schedule: 9/80 Regular: Off every other Friday, 1st Shift 

Job Description:

Systems Engineering position as part of a team that supports the design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne ISR platforms.

Interfaces with other Systems Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering personnel to understand new baseline functionality.

Plans and executes integration testing in a Systems Integration Laboratory and on airborne and ground-based platforms.

Verifies and validates new baseline functionality while ensuring legacy functionality still works as intended.

Follows existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with the system hardware and software.

Verifies fixes to anomalies. Interfaces with customer personnel to ensure their satisfaction with system performance.

Works with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets required to accomplish assigned work.

Provides regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to keep management and customer informed.

 

Essential Functions:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Ability to travel as needed (10% travel expected)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-start and perform effectively both independently and within a team.
    Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Extensive Systems or Software Engineering experience, particularly with system interfaces.
  • Collaborates with customers, systems engineers, and architects to ensure delivery requirements are met.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to provide regular support during ground and test flight operations, including weekends.
  • Hands-on experience with RC-135 operator and communications interfaces.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization, including with customers and vendors
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class III Flight Physical.
  • Secret clearance required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Experience with IBM DOORS Requirements Management Tool
  • Understand, write, and implement systems test plans and procedures
  • Former flying experience supporting RC-135 operations
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
