Job Summary:

QT9 Software is seeking a full-time ERP Specialist responsible for providing subject matter expert support to existing and prospective customers. In this role, you will work to build strong partnerships with both internal and external parties to ensure that tasks remain on track, technical issues are resolved quickly, and the customer relationship is constantly nurtured. QT9 ERP implementations/support are a mix of online video calls/training and onsite visits. You will advise customers on best practices for processes surrounding ERP such as inventory control, shop floor management, purchasing, inspection, shipping, etc. Travel for this position can be up to 40%.


This role will based in one of QT9's offices: Chicagoland (Aurora, IL) or Houston Metro (The Woodlands, TX). Applicants must be able to reliably commute to one of these locations.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expert support for the Implementation process
  • Gain an understanding of existing customer processes and assist with process improvements that align with QT9 ERP
  • Identify and uncover workflow and business processes inefficiencies within the client's current environment
  • Serve as the main onsite point of contact between the customer and the QT9 office/ Onsite implementation manager taking responsibility for the success of software product implementations
  • Assist and oversee technical integrations in the design stage, as well as launch preparation and operation support post-launch
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct web based/onsite training of new product features as required
  • Create documentation, product guides, implementation checklists, best practices, and help with continuous improvement of internal processes as require
  • Create trip reports and capture action items to help customer better utilize ERP software
  • Provide subject matter expert support to the Sales process to aid in new customer acquisition
  • Work with ERP Product Manager to build consulting services program and directly provide consulting support to existing customers as needed
  • End user software training
  • Other project/continuous improvement efforts as required

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Skilled at process analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement
  • Experience implementing/using ERP software systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be capable of prioritizing multiple requests/tasks with poise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Superior people skills; team-oriented, fast learner and very personable


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business or Computer Science (BA or BS) or relevant on the job experience with manufacturing and ERP systems.
