Job Description

Envysion, a leading provider of video-based SaaS technology solutions for retailers, including fast casual restaurants, convenience stores and wireless dealers, is seeking an Implementation Technician II for our installation support team.

You will supply technical support to internal and external teams, handle real-time escalation calls from partners and end customers during installations, assist in training technicians, and ensure every install meets Envysion's high technical standards. You will collaborate closely with Partner Project Managers managing field technicians, Envysion Project Managers, Tier 2 technical support, and Sales Engineers to ensure seamless, timely deployments.

This is a remote opportunity and candidates across the United States are encouraged to apply. Candidates in US west coast time zones preferred.

Core Functions:

  • Ensure that long-term partner and customer relationships are protected by providing world-class, solution-oriented technical support and delivering actionable performance feedback.

  • Maintain professional demeanor during high-pressure moments, troubleshooting real-time technical issues with field technicians.

  • Work with internal teams when technical issues occur to resolve at the earliest time frame.

  • Ensure that the detailed technical plans provided in the Installation Scope of Work are executed by internal and external team members.

  • Conduct system checkouts to guarantee our solution is correctly and completely implemented before signing off.

  • Provide clear and detailed communication to update internal teams and systems of progress, follow-ups, blockers, and next steps.

  • Collaborate on "train-the-trainer" sessions to ensure that partners, technicians, and customers alike are operating on the most up-to-date installation information.

  • Must be able to adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures.

Preferred Competencies and Skills:

  • Technical Aptitude: Computer literate with a strong grasp of Linux and Google Workspace. Experience with Salesforce is a major plus.

  • Networking & Integration: Strong system integration experience and robust networking knowledge.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with surveillance/CCTV system installations and operations. Field experience is highly valued.

  • Autonomy & Drive: A proven track record of working independently. You prefer autonomy over micromanagement.

  • Adaptability: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an enthusiastic and patient demeanor with field techs or clients.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous follow-up and follow-through skills both externally and internally; you don't leave loose ends.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work nights and weekends if a major rollout requires it.

  • Education/Experience: Formal technical training is preferred, along with demonstrated progressive advancement in your technical career.

Target Base Salary Range: $48,000 - $50,000 USD
