Overview
System One is seeking a MAC Systems Engineer for an opportunity in Overland Park, Kansas.
Responsibilities
  • Standardize and document macOS configurations, policies, and security baselines
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable secure, scalable macOS lab and endpoint environments
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for macOS development (tooling automation, secure build/sign/test/package workflows)
  • Improve operational visibility through dashboards, telemetry, and recurring reporting across JAMF, security, and CI/CD platforms
  • Support macOS identity modernization, including Entra ID, Platform SSO, MDM enrollment, and conditional access alignment
  • Enhance endpoint security posture through JAMF Protect optimization and SIEM/log integration

Requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise macOS engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with JAMF Pro (Policies, Smart Groups, Configuration Profiles, Scripts)
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
  • Proven experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines for macOS development environments
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing Microsoft Intune for macOS
  • Experience integrating macOS with Entra ID/Azure AD and MDM platforms (MS Intune)
  • Strong knowledge of macOS security hardening, compliance, and least-privilege models
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, AppleScript, Perl or zsh for automation and custom workflows
  • Strong knowledge of macOS internals, security frameworks, and MDM protocols
