Our client is building the future of manufacturing and industrial operations by combining advanced robotics with world-class software engineering to deliver AI-native solutions at scale. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside engineers who are passionate about innovation, automation, and optimizing the interaction between people, robotics, and intelligent systems to improve safety, efficiency, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

The IT organization is responsible for enabling engineering innovation and scalable manufacturing operations. In this role, you will help establish and grow an internal IT function, acquiring, deploying, and managing commercial off-the-shelf CAD, simulation, product development, and engineering software critical to the organization's continued growth.

  • Architect, deploy, and administer commercial off-the-shelf engineering software applications in accordance with enterprise security standards and industry best practices.
  • Implement application monitoring, automation, and system integrations using modern cloud technologies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions for enterprise applications.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for managed systems.
  • Support technical evaluations of software vendors and assist with licensing, procurement, and contract negotiations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support business-critical applications and infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
