Position: Senior Middleware Support System Administrator

Seeking an experienced and skilled System Administrator to provide support for WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat environments. The idea candidate will be responsible for answering and troubleshooting support requests, renewing SSL/TLS certificates, and running Ansible playbooks to ensure the smooth operation of critical infrastructure and ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of these platforms while troubleshooting issues related to application servers. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while adhering to established processes.
Responsibilities
Monitor WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat application servers for performance, availability, and security using Dynatrace and Splunk.
Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks.
Respond to and resolve alerts and incidents promptly.
Provide first and second-level support for WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat environments.
Respond to and troubleshoot issues related to application servers and web servers.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Respond to and resolve alerts and incidents promptly.
Manage and troubleshoot server logs, configurations, and connectivity issues.
Install, renew, and troubleshoot SSL/TSL certificates across WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat servers.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the middleware stack.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers, as necessary.
Support implementation activities and incident resolution.
Execute Ansible playbooks for configuration management, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing playbooks for better efficiency.
Apply patches, updates, and security fixes to WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat servers.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Skills
Must have
Strong knowledge of WebLogic, Apache HTTP Server, and Tomcat application servers in a Linux environment.
Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management (installation, renewal, troubleshooting)
