Responsible for leading and supporting the Transaction Management function across DCM, ABS, High Yield, Syndicated Lending, and Leveraged Finance. Group is organized to support teams each covering transaction management for a capital markets product or products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Applies extensive industry/market/product knowledge to lead execution of large and complex financings.
  2. Helps develop execution strategy and objectives for designated product area(s). Maintain transaction management policies, procedures and supervisory framework, leading regulatory, audit and governance interactions.
  3. Responsible for overseeing diligence, documentation and approvals. (e.g. FINRA filings, Reg M, record retention, deal disclosure matters, regulatory and jurisdictional oversight).
  4. Ensures proper credit approvals, MD approvals, DSUM requirements for all deals.
  5. Deal due diligence responsibility.
  6. Handles all aspects of controls, including approving execution milestones and closing readiness.
  7. Review, approval and signing of legal docs
  8. Coordinates with Syndicate desk, DCM and internal and external legal counsels.
  9. Serves as escalation point for legal and operational issues.
  10. Leads audit and exam responses.
  11. Mentors junior execution staff.
Required Qualifications

  1. BA/BS degree
  2. Licenses: Series 7, 79, 63
  3. 10+ years of related work experience
  4. Experience in leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory and capital raising spectrum
  5. Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and products
  6. Proven ability to develop, nurture and monetize "trusted advisor" client relationships with senior executives
  7. Advanced analytical and technical skills combined with a problem-solving attitude
  8. Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  9. Strong partnering and leadership skills in a complex, matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications
  1. MBA degree, with a Finance focus
  2. 14-16 years of related work experience
  3. 6-8 years of management experience

The annual base salary for this position is $233,300 - $275,000
