Job description

Position Accountabilities

This position reports directly to assigned Service Manager and is managed by VP of Service and Service Team Leaders. Hiring on-site available. No experience necessary, Hardworking Individuals Wanted.

This position is accountable for:

- Assisting in completing scheduled residential and commercial pool maintenance and service assignments in an efficient and professional manner.

- Upholding Elite Pool standards of service and cleanliness.

- Effectively communicating with clients and coworkers.

- Continuously striving for improvement and advancement.

Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Maintain a valid driver’s license and MVR suitable for insurability, not required but is preferred, especially for future promotions.

General Behavioral Expectations (these apply to all EPS positions)

· Arrive on time and prepared to work, according to Department criteria.

· Respond to customers and coworkers consistently with calmness, focus, and positivity.

· Demonstrate alignment with EPS core values through purposefully living them out according to the company’s written and verbal Values Statements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (for this specific position). On-Site Learning Provided.

· Knowledge of pool maintenance equipment.

· Basic understanding of the workings of pool filtration.

· Understanding of pool chemicals and safety

· Ability to learn new tasks and retain instructions

Duties & Responsibilities (for this specific position)

· Assist in completing scheduled residential and commercial pool maintenance assignments in an efficient and professional manner

· Complete basic pool opening and closing.

· As needed and with guidance: complete sand changes; basic pool filter repair; pump motor and seal replacement; basic PVC plumbing; installation and repair of salt systems and tablet feeders; multiport diagnosis repair and replacement; diagnose and repair Pentair pool light products

· Keep shop area clean, organized, and stocked.

· Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and stocked with appropriate supplies and tools. Maintain and clean equipment and tools.

· Maintain jobsite safety during all phases including transport, site work, equipment operation, pool chemicals, electrical, and underground utilities.

· Maintain good working relationship with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Essential Functions

· Able to stand, sit, kneel, and walk as needed during a shift.

· Able to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

· Able to work in all weather conditions.
