Job description

Founded in 2019, Swift supports Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community customers across the country and around the globe. We are looking for Contract Support Specialists at the entry-, mid-, and expert-level to join a dynamic contracting team supporting mission-driven government customers. We are looking for Contract Support Specialists who are detail-oriented, systems-savvy professionals ready to play a critical role in keeping contract operations running smoothly and efficiently. The work locations vary between Herndon, VA and McLean, VA. Responsibilities: * Contract Modifications: Execute non-decisional administrative modifications to existing contracts including incremental funding, de-obligations, period of performance extensions, level-of-effort reconciliations, Award Fee releases, and Government Property dispositions. This is done by compiling documentation, navigating the Customer's contract writing system, building modification packages for government review, and coordinating signatures from all relevant parties.
* Contract File Maintenance: Organize and maintain contract files across multiple formats (electronic and hardcopy) through scanning, printing, tabbing, labeling, and filing to ensure records are accurate, accessible, and audit-ready.
* Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately enter and retrieve contract data across the Customer's applications, platforms, and databases to support funding obligations, outstanding action tracking, report generation, and responses to internal data calls.
* Contract Settlement & Closeout: Support contract settlement and closeout activities in accordance with Customer guidance, including completion verification, vendor invoice collection, liaison auditor coordination, settlement memo preparation, waiver recommendations, negotiated settlements, refund processing, and file boxing and shipment.
* General Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to assigned contracting teams, including managing system access requests, facilitating data transfers, recording time and attendance, maintaining office calendars, ordering supplies, and serving as a front-line point of contact for incoming calls, mail, and visitors. Requirements: * Entry-level * High school diploma or equivalent.
* 2 years of work experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point; and Adobe Acrobat.
* 1 year of administrative support experience to include developing correspondence, providing customer service, scheduling, and filing documents. * 1 year of work experience in any of the following areas: contracts, office administration, finance, and program administration.
* Mid-level * High school diploma or equivalent.
* 5 years of work experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat.
* 5 years of administrative support experience to include developing correspondence, providing customer service, scheduling, and filing documents. * 3 years of work experience in any of the following areas or equivalent fields: contracts, office administration, finance, and program administration.
* Candidate must have at least 3 years' experience with contract administration to be considered as a Mid.
* Expert-level * High school diploma or equivalent.
* 10 years of work experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat.
* 10 years of administrative support experience to include developing correspondence, providing customer service, scheduling, and filing documents. * 6 years of work experience in any of the following areas or equivalent fields: contracts, office administration, finance, and/or program administration.
* Candidate must have at least 10 years' experience with contract administration to be considered as an Expert.
* US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Desired Skills: * DAWIA Level 1 or higher in Contracting or FAC-C Level 1 or higher certification
* Associate's degree or other advanced degree * 1 year of work experience with Government (Federal, State, or Local) acquisition contracting process. * Experience working with organization(s) in the Intelligence Community.
