Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our day to day operations for our sweet shop, which includes supporting and developing team members, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining  high moral. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the food/ beverage industry, a passion for people development, strong project management and operational abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise sweeties associates
  • Maintain Department of Health standards
  • Create weekly schedule
  • Train and evaluate employees
  • Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
  • Overseeing inventory and purchasing
  • Execute a plan for increasing sales
  • Help to cultivate an inclusive culture and positive work environment for all
  • Model excellent customer service, providing a warm and welcoming environment for all customers.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in the food/ beverage industry, customer service, or other related fields
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate Required
