Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Location - Fullerton, CA
Specialty: Labor & Delivery
Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care for obstetric patients in a busy acute care hospital setting. Candidates must possess strong triage skills and be able to independently perform sterile vaginal examinations without supervision.
Schedule & Staffing
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend minimum; may exceed based on unit needs
  • On-Call: Not required
  • Floating: Required to Mother/Baby unit as needed
  • Block Scheduling: Considered at manager discretion
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off one shift per two-week pay period
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN License (pending licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
  • 1.5 years recent L&D experience is a hard stop
  • First-time travelers accepted
