Job description

Sales & Svc Billing Spec - req1669

OVERVIEW

Responsible for Order entry, Change Orders, Invoicing & Revenue Recognition for Sales and Service. Identify, diagnose, and resolve booking and billing issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convert approved quotes to orders in Oracle, make adjustments as required and verify order financials for accuracy.
  • Review change orders for accuracy and make adjustments as required.
  • Amend sales orders for approved changes and re-invoice as required.
  • Bill customers as per terms and conditions of the order.
  • Recognize revenue in compliance with CMSU policies.
  • Work in cross functional teams to troubleshoot and solve sales order related issues.
  • File and maintain customer documentation electronically.
  • Perform work under minimal supervision.
  • Handle issues and problems, and escalates only the most complex issues to higher level staff.
  • Audit Service Requests (SR) closed by Field Service Engineers or Area Service Managers to ensure accurate Billings and adherence to Compliance.
  • Collaborate with Service management to minimize concessions and strengthen overall Service billings.
  • Provide backup information for Audit requests as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working with sales team and knowledge of CRM or ERP (preferred).
  • Good PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines, handle high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills; strong detail orientation.
  • 2 Year / associate's degree, degree in business or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • 2 years' experience working with Sales & Service teams
  • Oracle and Salesforce is highly preferred but not required
  • Pay Information: Min Salary $56,600 to Max Salary $101,900 (annual equivalency); DOE
