Sushi Cook / Midday – LoLa 41

White Elephant Hotel, Aspen, Colorado

About the Role:

The Sushi Prep Cook is responsible for stocking and maintaining sushi prep, preparing sushi items during lunch, and keeping a clean, organized workspace during service. The schedule is 8am - 4pm.

What You’ll Do:

Stock, maintain, and organize all sushi preparation stations

Prepare food items to Lola 41 standards

Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization during and after service

Follow health, safety, and HACCP standards

Assist in high-volume production while maintaining consistency and quality

Support the BOH team and promote a positive, professional kitchen culture

Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

Previous experience with sushi, fresh fish prep, and asian cuisine

Ability and stamina to lift and carry heavy items routinely

Commitment to work 5 days per week

Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling

Knowledge of food prep, cooking and sushi preparation, and kitchen safety protocols

High-volume production and cost control experience is a plus
