We’re excited to be opening our newest location in Kirkland, Washington, in 2026 and are beginning to build the talented kitchen team that will bring the Bamboo Sushi experience to the Kirkland community..

What You’ll Do

As a Sushi Chef at Bamboo Sushi, you’ll work closely with both our kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure consistent, thoughtful, and timely preparation of sushi bar menu items. You’ll be hands-on in every aspect of sushi production, from prep to guest interaction, while upholding our high standards of quality and hospitality.

You’ll progress through our sushi stations based on skill level and experience:

  • Roll Case – Vegetable prep, sushi rice preparation, and mastering roll production
  • Front Case – Fish breakdown, knife work, nigiri and sashimi preparation, creating omakase experiences, and engaging with guests at the sushi bar
  • Wheel – Coordinating incoming orders with production while preparing rolls, nigiri, and sashimi
