Job Title: Onsite Job- Painter
Location:  Foley AL 36535
Duration: 4 Months Contract
Max Pay: $22.00/hr to $25/hr on W2

Position comments:
• You will be working onsite at our Foley, AL Location
• Work 1st shift hours (5:15am-2:15pm) Monday – Friday

Job Description :
Looking for Surface Treatment I professionals that will support our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility.
You will oversee the finishing of aircraft components that are essential to aerodynamics, noise reduction, airflow efficiency, and landing deceleration.
Your work will contribute to the delivery of airplane technology to the largest manufacturers in the world.

What you will do:
• You will utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, protective clothing, arm sleeves, dust mask, gloves (rubber or latex) and other PPE as needed.
• Required to work varying shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as required
• Read and interpret blueprint specifications, SRM’s and shop orders to determine area to be sealed and painted.
• Stir mixture with shake machine or mix by hand.
• Apply cleaning solvent or other solutions to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Clean and roughen the surface of objects to be coated.
• Apply paint primers, clear coat, sealants or adhesives.
• Complete seal and water testing of components.
• Install and seal small detail parts or small sub-assemblies.
• Dispose of hazardous material.
• Mask area for application.
• Application of Stencils and Decals
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
 
Desired Skills Set :
• Prior paint or processor experience, along with blueprint and/or specification reading skills.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand work instructions (verbal and written) perform basic math calculations and conduct self-inspection / audit.
 
Education Qualification :
Education typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor)
