Hours: M-F 8a - 4:30p
Location: Boonville, MO (onsite)
Department: Suppressor
Reports To: Department Head or Assistant Department Head

Job Summary

The Suppressor Packaging & Assembly Associate is responsible for supporting daily production operations within the suppressor assembly and packaging department. This entry-level position performs routine assembly and packaging tasks under direct supervision while developing technical proficiency, product knowledge, and compliance understanding in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly Operations

  • Assemble suppressor components according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and light production equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow serialization and component traceability procedures.

Packaging Operations

  • Package finished suppressors and related accessories per company standards.
  • Verify part numbers, serial numbers, labeling, and documentation for accuracy.
  • Ensure packaging materials meet branding and compliance standards.

Quality & Compliance

  • Perform basic visual and functional inspections.
  • Accurately complete required production documentation.
  • Adhere strictly to ATF, ITAR, and company compliance requirements.
  • Report quality concerns or discrepancies immediately to leadership.

Production & Team Support

  • Meet established daily production goals.
  • Maintain organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Participate in cross-training within the department.
  • Demonstrate willingness to follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • On-the-job training provided.
  • Prior manufacturing experience helpful but not required.

  • Experience in firearms, quality-controlled or regulated manufacturing environments.

Working & Physical Requirements

  • This job is operated in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Visual acuity sufficient for inspection of small parts and serial numbers.
  • Manufacturing and production environment.
  • Exposure to machinery, assembly tools, and packaging equipment.
  • Required use of designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with productivity expectations.
  • Frequent standing, sitting, stooping/squatting, walking, and stair climbing can be expected along with frequent lifting and/or moving of tooling, parts containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel frequently at a minimum of 50% of the shift, as well as undergo repetitive wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder, and ankle motions.
  • Must demonstrate proficient fine motor skills, ability to grip, reach, pull, turn, and use tools to torque fixtures in various machinery or in the assembly, machining, or testing of parts.
  • Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral and depth perception, and the ability to focus on fine print.
  • You must wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Repetitive movement.
