Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Balanced Life Counseling, you will play a pivotal role in the therapeutic journey of our clients. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers remotely to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, considering all aspects of a patient's mental well-being.
  • Offering immediate virtual support to families in crisis, providing essential guidance to stabilize situations and help resolve conflicts effectively through video communication.
  • Developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing personalized treatment plans informed by thorough virtual assessments to monitor client progress and ensure improved outcomes.
  • Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions through secure online platforms, utilizing effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, and Psychotherapy tailored to client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be serving a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a range of behavioral health issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and substance use disorders. By offering telehealth services, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of those who may not have access to traditional in-person therapies due to geographic or personal constraints.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • An active State licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California, validating your professional expertise in this critical field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting.
