S1 Technology is hiring a Technical Support Specialist to own client issues from first contact through resolution. This role is for someone who likes troubleshooting, talking with end users, and helping businesses use technology to its full potential, not just "fix tickets."This position is 100% onsite at our Baton Rouge, LA office. Remote candidates will not be considered. In This Role, You WillRespond to client support requests by phone, email, and remote tools, and stay with the issue until it is resolved.Troubleshoot workstations, servers, Microsoft environments, and core network issues like switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VLANs in client environments.Own client tickets from beginning to end with escalated support from your team when needed to ensure efficient and effective resolution of the tickets. Keep clear notes in tickets, manage your queue, and communicate realistic timelines so clients know what to expect. Experience & Skillset RequirementsBackground experience with supporting end-users in a fast-paced service desk, technical support, or similar role where you owned issues instead of just routing them.Extensive experience supporting:Microsoft 365 Administration (SharePoint, Teams, and related services)Windows Server AdministrationBasic networking concepts & troubleshootingPC hardware & software troubleshooting Supported end users in an MSP or other client-facing IT setting and juggled multiple tickets or projects at once.Communicated clearly with end users in a variety of mediums (i.e. phone, email, client portal, etc.) to understand and resolve issues timely and accurately.
