Job description

  • Manages the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for meeting financial commitments, including costs, methods, and staffing.
  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers to address sales process issues and/or resolve customer needs.
  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that increase productivity.
  • Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
  • Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in a related field 
  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • Ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires a variety of factors, including understanding the sales process.
  • Ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management.
  • Extensive knowledge of company policies and sales processes.

What we offer:

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated annual compensation for this position is $118,750 - 150,000 which includes a base salary of  $95,000 - $120,000 and 25% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 25% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Compensation is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. 

This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
