Job Description

The UIT -Trading & Client Support Manager will be primarily responsible for the trading of both equity and fixed income unit trusts and helps to facilitate the trading of unitsduring the primary offering period and in the secondary market with Invesco clients who are buying or selling for retail investors. Processes include providing coverage to broker dealer home office clients ensuring each is apprised of available portfolios, new offerings, portfolio highlights and competitive positioning. Serving as the main point of contact for Broker Dealer home office UIT contacts, this role will be integral in both maintaining and growing strong relationships throughout the industry and representing Invesco. The role will also assist in the creation and redemption of trusts and units through the trustee. The UIT - Trading & Support Manager will ensure all processes, systems and communication methods adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and procedures to ensure appropriate levels of accountability, timeliness and reporting are met.

The UIT - Trading & Client Support Manager will be a part of the ETF & Index Investments team within Invesco and will assist with various internal reporting, projects and support on specific business lines and projects aligned to support the primary and secondary offering of unit trust portfolios. Role will work closely with client accounts, operations, product specialists, portfolio managers, compliance, technology, and the custodian. The position, located in Downers Grove, Illinois, will lead the trading desk with one immediate direct report.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Accountable for individual trading activity and responsible for accuracy of information relayed to customers.

  • Highly detail oriented and process driven to avoid inaccurate trading practices or a result in loss of revenue, legal liability, risk to firm reputation, and loss of customers.

  • Must follow all regulations as established by governing bodies and compliance as well as outlined in prospectus.

  • Additional opportunities for portfolio and trading responsibilities across the ETF & Index Investments team as proficiency is established.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.

  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.

  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with customer service, trading, or sales experience

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

The salary range for this position in Downers Grove is 125000-155000base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
