The Assistant Manager creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products.  This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards.

 

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations at our drive thru coffee shop. The Assistant Manager will support the Regional Manager in leading a team of approximately 15 employees, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth store operations, and achievement of key performance goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of ~15 employees to deliver excellent service.
    • Conduct interviews, hire, and train new staff members.
    • Provide ongoing employee performance reviews and feedback.
    • Create, manage, and adjust weekly staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
    • Monitor and achieve store performance metrics, including sales, labor, and service targets.
    • Ensure store is stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
    • Manage and coordinate preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Customer Experience
    • Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for both customers and employees.
    • Ensure quality standards are consistently met in product preparation and service.
    • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Financial & Administrative
    • Support the Owner with inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
    • Track, report, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, health codes, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in food service or retail preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
