Job description

Regions Hospital is Hiring a Supply Chain Services Specialist- Center Core. The Regions Hospital Supply Chain team focuses on the effective and efficient use of resources to deliver the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time, to the right place.

To assist with various responsibilities of the OR Center Core Supply Chain Services department. 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, issue, inventory stock levels, transport and monitor materials, supplies, linen, surgical instruments, and equipment.
  • Deliver requested product or instrumentation to OR rooms when required. 
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

This position requires additional experience and performs tasks that require a higher degree of expertise in supply chain services than a Supply Chain Services Associate. The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, be able to read, speak and write English, work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks and respond to changes as necessary.

Work schedule: FTE: .5 (20 hrs. weekly) Day/Evening Shift

Required Qualifications:

Experience:         One (1) year of experience as a Supply Chain Services Associate. Completion of a post-secondary education program or completion of one year of a post-secondary education will substitute for experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
