Allfast Fastening Systems is a leading global manufacturer of solid and blind rivets, blind bolts, temporary fasteners, and installation tools for the aerospace industry. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
-Strategic sourcing and supplier contracting; drive assessment of current supplybase
- Serve as the primary relationship manager with suppliers
- Facilitate periodic business reviews with key suppliers
- Ensure tactical purchasing function is effective and supports manufacturingproduction schedules
- Champion effective use of MRP system in the planning and purchasing processes
- Champion S&OP process along with Operations leaders
- Ensure planning and purchasing efforts properly balance objectives ofcustomer OTD, efficient inventory management and working capital, and levelload objectives of factory operations
- Develop make-vs buy analysis to drive insource & outsource businessdecisions
- Participate in business strategy development and assure alignment withdepartment direction
- Lead, coach, develop, and support group of planners and buyers
- Hire & train new employees as necessary
- Work with GM to develop department KPIs which support and are aligned withbusiness unit objectives
- Establish goals and metrics
This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the City of Industry, CA location.
Qualifications
Education and /or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in supply chain, business, engineering or equivalentexperience. MBA would be a bonus but not required. Experience level: minimum of5 to 10 years of planning, purchasing, or supply chain experience required, aportion of which should include management/leadership role experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally requiredto walk; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. Theemployee is regularly required to sit. Specific vision abilities required bythis job include color vision
ComputerSkills:
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of ERP/MRPsoftware, and be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
