Job description

Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Specialist
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Amarillo, TX 79101
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST)
Description:
  • Coordinate the movement of products and materials between suppliers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and customers.
  • Enter shipment, order, and inventory information into company systems accurately.
  • Prepare and process shipping, receiving, purchase order, invoice, and transportation documents.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Schedule shipments and arrange transportation while supporting daily logistics operations.
  • Update ERP systems (SAP), Excel spreadsheets, and company databases with shipment and inventory information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management activities.
  • Track raw materials and finished goods throughout the supply chain.
  • Resolve routine shipping and delivery issues and escalate complex concerns when necessary.
  • Prepare logistics and shipment reports while supporting transportation cost optimization.
  • Assist with managing vendors, third-party warehouses, shipping containers, and import shipments.
  • Perform routine logistics and supply chain tasks while maintaining accurate documentation.
