JOB TITLE: Supplier Support/Project Manager
LOCATION: Daytona Beach, FL
PAY RATE: $85-92.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between the client and interior system suppliers following Detail Design phase.

  • Support preparation and review of CDR and PRR documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements.

  • Evaluate preliminary and critical designs to identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure design outputs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements (14 CFR Part 23/25), and company guidelines.

  • Maintain configuration control, including version tracking, baseline management, and communication of engineering changes.

  • Coordinate and facilitate technical meetings with suppliers and stakeholders; document decisions and action items.

  • Support development of presentation materials, technical summaries, and review reports for CDR meetings.

  • Develop and implement verification plans to confirm design performance, safety, and certification compliance.

  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to supplier engineering teams.

  • Assist in completion and submission of CDR drawings and CATIA V5 models according to the master schedule.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in aircraft mechanical or interior design.

  • Working knowledge of aircraft interior conceptual design and BOM/parts standards.

  • Advanced GD&T knowledge.

  • Experience with commercial aircraft certification requirements.

  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and PLM tools such as Teamcenter.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
