Job description

Job Summary:

Upstate Inclusive Health Services and Adult Medicine seek a primary care physician to provide high quality, evidence based clinical care with a focus on LGBTQ adults. Experience with or willingness to learn about HIV treatment and prevention is also required. Faculty will precept students in the College of Medicine and Graduate Studies and house staff in clinical settings, promote high quality clinical research, and work with the Ambulatory group to create provider trainings and policies that foster optimal health for LGBTQ patients. Faculty will consult and collaborate with colleagues, facilitate the goals of SUNY Upstate Medical University, and participate in administration and medical service group meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualification: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with general medicine patients in an academic healthcare setting preferred.

Work Days:

Monday through Friday daytime hours
