Our Schenectady, NY financial center is hiring!
Business Hours: Monday & Tuesday 9am - 4:30pm, Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday & Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. Employees are scheduled 36-40 hours per week with rotating Saturdays off. Actual shift may vary based on branch opening/closing/balancing needs.
* Training for this position will be at our Latham office.
Starting pay, $22-24/hr based on experience.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide legendary service to members by welcoming them to the financial center while providing information regarding our credit union services.
  • Acts as a member liaison, supporting member convenience with all credit union technology available. Supports member transactions through use of Interactive Teller Machines as needed.
  • Serves members by providing advanced consumer account information including IRA, Trust, Estate and Business accounts.
  • Researches and solves member questions, problems, and complaints.
  • Assist Management in maintaining our culture while achieving department sales goals. Conducts consumer account openings, secures required identification, explains all legal documents, and reviews documentation for accuracy.
  • Achieves and maintains designation as Notary Public and provides notary services as requested.

Candidates should have a high school graduate/equivalent or higher with a minimum of one year sales/customer service experience. Prior banking experience preferred. Ability to meet sales goals, strong attention to detail and communicate effectively. Computer proficiency within Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
