Job description

Sun Logistics Miami is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative with a minimum of 5 years of experience selling within the South Florida international gateway market. This role requires a deep understanding of drayage, port operations, and international freight flows supporting the Port of Miami, Port Everglades, and surrounding logistics ecosystem.

The ideal candidate brings established relationships, market knowledge, and a proven ability to sell drayage and logistics services in a competitive, relationship-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on drayage and logistics services within South Florida

  • Prospect and secure new business from importers, exporters, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, and distribution companies

  • Sell drayage, port-related transportation, container services, and value-added logistics solutions

  • Leverage deep market knowledge of South Florida’s international gateway to identify opportunities

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular communication and in-person meetings

  • Collaborate closely with operations and dispatch to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution

  • Prepare pricing proposals, service agreements, and contracts

  • Track sales activity, pipeline development, and performance metrics

  • Stay informed on port activity, market trends, and competitive offerings

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling drayage and/or logistics services within the South Florida international gateway market

  • Deep understanding of port operations, container movement, and international supply chain dynamics

  • Proven track record of closing business in a relationship-driven logistics sales environment

  • Established book of business or strong industry relationships preferred
