Job description

Summit Marketing Group Inc. d/b/a Beyond Paint seeks for its Clearwater office a Logistics Associate to coordinate the timely and cost-effective movement of goods in accordance with established company procedures, to communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to arrange shipments across multiple transportation modes, to obtain and compare carrier rate quotes and assist in selecting appropriate transportation options based on predefined criteria, to books freight shipments and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment, to accurately input orders into the Beyond Paint computer system, to track shipments and follows up on delays or discrepancies in coordination with carriers and internal team members, to provide shipment status updates to internal departments and customers, to assist with customer service inquiries related to shipping and delivery, and to support sales and marketing, including acquisition, distribution, delivery, and final disposal of company inventory, as directed by management.
