Job Description
We are hiring in Cohoes NY! Join us this summer at Camp Colonie for an exciting opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapist.
What You'll Do
As a Certified Occupational Therapist you provide Occupational Therapy services for children as needed.
Applicants must be available June 29- August 14
Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Make classroom consultations and screening recommendations for children as needed.
  • Write progress notes and annual reports on time schedule addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.
  • Complete record keeping as required by licensing/certifying agency including Frontline and Kinney system.
  • Complete evaluations from referrals.
  • COTA supervision.
  • Maintain professional standards and current skills in therapy techniques.
  • Attend staff/team meetings and other CPSE/CSE meetings as assigned.
  • Assist in staff development and training.

You're a great fit for this role if you have:
  • Bachelors Degree or its equivalent in the field of Occupational Therapy from a recognized college or university
  • Current license by the State Board of Registration in Medicine
  • Three years experience working with children as a therapist is preferred.

Compensation: $35.00-51.00/hr.
