POSITION : Summer School - Certified Elementary Teachers (K-5) - Early Start Program
REPORTS TO : School Principal AND Assistant Director of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
POSITION SUMMARY :
Elementary teachers are needed to staff positions at various schools for students in Grades K-5, in the below subject areas. This program will be in-person.
  • Certified K-5 Teachers (Teacher of record preferred. Teachers with experience teaching Foundations preferred)
  • TESOL
  • School Social Worker

LOCATION : This program will be in-person. The program will run July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026, Monday - Friday. Location and hours of employment are subject to change based on student enrollment.
QUALIFICATIONS : Connecticut certification in area of instruction. Teacher of record preferred.
Benefits
Salary and Terms of Employment : Summer school rate as per Appendix D of the HFT contract is $44.00 per hour. No holidays, vacation or sick leave during this scheduled program period . Applicants who cannot work through the entire program due to scheduling conflicts should not apply.
