What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Tefl Tesol position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a TEFL/TESOL teacher, you typically need a strong command of the English language, a bachelor's degree, and a recognized TEFL or TESOL certification. Familiarity with digital teaching platforms, online classroom tools, and assessment software is often required, especially for remote roles. TEFL/TESOL teachers often navigate challenges such as language barriers, varying student proficiency levels, and adapting teaching methods to different cultural expectations. Classroom management and maintaining student motivation, especially in virtual settings, can also be demanding.
