Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Instruct integrated skills ESL classes.
  2. Design engaging student-centered activities to reinforce learning targets.
  3. Develop capstone projects to assess course outcomes.
  4. Carry out instructional assignments involving distance education, if necessary.
  5. Assignments may be performed at other campus locations.
  6. Be available for possible evening, weekend and off-campus assignments.
  7. Conduct other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Linguistics
  2. OR a Bachelor's degree with training in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)/Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
  3. AND at least two (2) years experience in TEFL/TESOL in an academic setting

Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in TESOL
  2. Experience teaching content-based ESL
  3. Familiarity with student-centered classrooms
  4. Experience with, or interest in, project-based learning
  5. Overseas teaching experience or experience with multiple, diverse cultures
