Job description

REPORTS TO: Reports primarily to Office Managers and Executive Director of Personnel


QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and Google email, docs and sheets.  Experience using ReadySub and Boyce Financial Systems preferred.
  3. Possess excellent organization, communication and time management skills as well as the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  4. Possess positive attitude and working relationship with school corporation substitute teachers, teachers, and corporation staff.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Issues new accounts, maintains current accounts, resets passwords, maintains calendar, etc. in ReadySub.
  2. Maintains accurate absences in ReadySub.
  3. Daily communication with building support staff to finalize substitute assignments.
  4. Run daily substitute reconciliation reports and verifies building sign offs.
  5. Run reports and processes payroll for substitutes.
  6. Reconciles teacher leaves, processes information regarding short term unpaid leaves, and communicates information to teachers as well as appropriate staff.
  7. Files teacher leave forms.
  8. Communicates with payroll staff substitute hires, resignations and deactivations.
  9. Monitors ReadySub for inactive substitutes and processes deactivations.
  10. Creates and maintains accurate substitute personnel files.
  11. Creates an annual summer substitute list.
  12. Back up to the receptionist.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned by Office Managers and Directors.
