Summer Activity Camp: Futsal / Indoor Soccer Instructor (Miller CC)
Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Futsal / Indoor Soccer Camp Instructor to lead youth futsal (indoor soccer) camps at Miller.
Kick off the summer with Futsal Camp. This exciting, fast-paced version of soccer is played around the world. Instructors will work with participants to enhance their skills on the field while emphasizing teamwork, skill development, and scrimmaging.
Hourly Wage: $27.00-$28.50Status: Part-time, Seasonal
Location - Miller Community Center

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday
  • Camp session options may include:
    • 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
    • 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    • 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Summer Activity Camp: Futsal / Indoor Soccer Instructor Responsibilities:
  • Instruct participants in fundamental futsal and indoor soccer skills
  • Lead drills, skill-building activities, and scrimmages
  • Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
  • Set up and break down equipment and activity areas
  • Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
  • Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures

Summer Activity Camp: Futsal / Indoor Soccer Instructor Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience coaching or instructing soccer, futsal, or similar youth sports programs
  • Experience working with children in a recreational or camp setting
  • Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
