LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles' third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. The LA28 Technology teamis responsible forboth IT for the organization and technology equipment and services to enable the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.Within the Technology team, theService Delivery organization(SVD)is responsible fordelivering the underlying hardware,softwareand services to support corporate operations and Games delivery.This role bringsstructure to ourproject and program management, operational readiness and testing, technology workforce planning,budget management,and technology procurementprocesses. 

The Senior Manager, Delivery Project Managementwill report to theHead ofTechnologyService Deliveryand serve a key role in managingalarge volume of projects, processes, and initiativesacross the team.As the Senior Manager, Delivery Project Management, this role will need an ability to implement processes and structure in a fast-paced environment, an exceptional ability to foster relationships, and theproject managementfoundation tomeetourdelivery needs.

• Implement project management best practices across the technologyfunctional area  

• Manage complex technology projects involving internal and external stakeholders in a time-sensitive environment 

• Establish project plans and standard project management deliverymechanisms in support of various technology functions (e.g., applications, cybersecurity, telecommunications) 

• Lead special projects andkeyinitiativesto ensure effectiveGames planning and technology delivery for the 2028 summer Games 

• Track, coordinate, plan, and report on technical work across multiple teams and departments 

• Standardize processes, project documentation, knowledge management, and collaboration practices 

• Maintain project documentation, project resources,andtemplateswithin SharePoint 

• Collaborate with other functional areas(e.g., Sport, Broadcast)to align cross-functional schedules and timingofprojectdelivery 

• Coordinate with the Strategic PMO team on organization-wide project management principles, best practices, and centers of excellence 

• Contribute to the development of change management practices and implementation of change management across the department 

• Minimum 7+ years of related work experience intechnology orsports-relatedproject management 

• Demonstratedtrack recordof successfully managingcomplex and time-sensitive projects 

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve issues efficiently 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely 

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve common goals 

• Ability to manage multiple large-scale tasks and priorities simultaneously 

• Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills 

• Experience working within a complex, cross-functional organization 

• Fluent working with Microsoft Office suite of products 

• Experience with Smartsheet a plus 

• Ability todesign andimplementprocessesincludingmanage change effectively 

• The A committed team player with problem-solving skills, comfortable working both in the details and at a higher strategic level

• Bachelorsdegree or equivalent work experience 
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or other PMI designationpreferred 

• Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office. 

• The majority ofwork will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment. 

• The LA28 office is anopen floorplanworking environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in anopen cubicleenvironment. 

• Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods. 

• Perform other duties asrequired; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $140,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
