Summer Lifeguard - Summer @ Saint Mary's
Saint Mary's School is seeking certified Lifeguards for the Summer @ Saint Mary's program. This is a temporary position beginning June 15 and lasting approximately six weeks. Lifeguards are not required to work every week, and multiple positions are available.
The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours.
Under the supervision of the Auxiliary Services Coordinator, Lifeguards maintain safe swimming conditions in the indoor pool and surrounding areas and help create a safe, positive environment for camp participants. Responsibilities include supervising swimming activities; enforcing pool rules and safety procedures; performing rescues and administering first aid, CPR, and AED as needed; monitoring pool conditions; assisting with basic pool maintenance and record keeping; and following all school policies and procedures.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and hold current lifeguard certification with First Aid, CPR, and AED for Professional Rescuers. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention, physical readiness, and the ability to work effectively with children and staff.
