2026 GAYLOR ELECTRIC SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - COLLEGE STUDENTS

Whether you're a current student, recent graduate or a seasoned professional, you can experience meaningful career growth at Gaylor Electric. Combining access to industry-leading technical skill development and world-class, career-related professionalism training. Over the past three years, our program has welcomed students from 70+ high school and collegiate institutions.

With over 200 students for our summer program, students are placed across the county at national Gaylor Electric locations and job sites. Sprinkled throughout the summer, students have access to resume development, interview prep, business best practices discussions, and professional headshots. This experience culminates with an academic capstone presentation or craft skills assessment.

We offer positions in the Field, Manufacturing, Project Management, Engineering, BIM/VDC, Safety and Corporate roles such as Accounting, Human Resources, Education, Information Technology and Marketing.

Students will not only develop skills in positions related to their academic field of study, but will do intense curation of their professional resumes, interview habits, networking skills, and professionalism approaches. Our Summer Internship program is an 8-to-11-week paid opportunity.

Your internship, at Gaylor Electric, can be the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge outside of the classroom and apply the concepts and theories of your major field of study. The hands-on real-world experiences that you encounter during our internship program enable you to develop your potential and make key contacts for future networking.
