1. Staff Assistant (Part-Time, Ongoing)

Pay: $18.50–$20/hr
Schedule: 15–25 hours/week (9am–6pm, flexible across weekdays & weekends)
Role Overview
Staff Assistants support all BKLA programs, working alongside instructors and participants across fitness classes, life skills sessions, workshops, tutoring, and camps.
Key Responsibilities

Role Overview

Camp Counselors create a fun, safe, and engaging environment while leading activities and supporting campers of all ages and abilities. Our campers range in age from 7 - 25 and are separated in groups by age.
Job title: Assistant Camp Instructor
Compensation: $18 - $20 based on experience
  • Assist in scheduled activities, while creating a fun, positive and safe experience for all campers.
  • Assist youth leaders with all scheduled activities.
  • Ensure safety of campers and volunteers.
  • Demonstrate fun and active demeanor.
  • Work well with different age groups of children, teens, and individuals of all ages with special needs.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and great communication skills with employees, campers, and families.
  • Ability to multitask and handle complex situations appropriately.
  • Background in Martial Arts and Prior experience in camp or after school program a plus!
Job title: Junior Camp Counselor/Youth Camp Counselor
(age 16+ with valid work permit)
Compensation: $17.78
