Prell Pools is a fun, small, non-corporate, family run business looking for a Technician Assistant to join our awesome team. This position is a full time, seasonal position starting immediately. Please check out our website www.prellpools.com
Qualifications:
Consistent and dependable attendance is a must!
Must be able to communicate with technician, office, and co-workers.
Be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be reliable and dependable
Be able to work long hours during the busy season consisting of Spring, Summer, Fall
Responsibilities:
Work quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly with the technician
Load truck with product pulls and special parts needed for the day
Assist technicians throughout the day: carry supplies & tools, keep the truck organized, make sure the job site stays clean, Record parts and chemicals used during the day
Pool Openings /Closings - Assist in the following: Removing covers, empty water tubes, lower cover anchors, skim & vac pool, store winter/summer products, hose/bucket/blow deck, etc
Anticipate the technician’s needs, take initiative to perform the next task
When the truck returns to shop: Throw trash in the dumpster, throw recyclables in proper containers, restock anything used off the truck (parts & chemicals), and make sure the truck is ready to go out the next day
Work is performed outdoors in all types of weather provided its safe.
Come prepared for all safe weather conditions
Clearly follow directions given by lead Technician
Provide friendly and accurate customer service
Always maintain a professional neat and clean appearance
Assist in retrieving tools and supplies as directed by a technician
Assist in performing basic pool openings & Assist in performing basic winterizations
Assist in Equipment Installations
Use Power-vac System to clean pool
Backwash/clean filter-Identify and Operate basic components of the filtration system
Learn to Evaluate and rebuild filter grid assemblies & Perform grid and cartridge cleanings
