Gelati Celesti Ice Cream is growing and needs a talented Ice Cream Maker for a seasonal full-time position to support summer production!

Summary

As an Ice Cream Maker at Gelati Celesti Ice Cream, you will play a vital role in creating our signature artisanal flavors. Located in Richmond, VA, this position is essential to maintaining the high standards of quality that our customers have come to love.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mix ingredients to create a variety of ice cream flavors.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards during production.
  • Operate ice cream making equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop new flavors and improve existing recipes.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in food preperation or related field prefered
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8-4 from April to August
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Can regularly lift 50 Pounds
  • Stand for Long periods of time
  • Can work in a freezer and other cold environments
