Job description

Summer Production Worker (Temporary)

Location: Onsite, Hickory NC

Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Duration: Temporary/Seasonal (June-August)

Travel: None

Third Shift 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Pay: $17.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking Summer Production Helpers to support our manufacturing operations during the peak summer months. This temporary role assists with basic production, packaging, material handling, inspection, and housekeeping tasks to ensure safe and efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with general production tasks and support production flow

Package finished goods and label materials according to instructions

Perform basic visual inspections for quality and defects

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures, GMP, and ISO requirements

Assist with material handling, staging, and inventory-related tasks

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Support cycle counts and nonconformance (NCMR) processes as assigned

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required

Ability to follow instructions, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a team environment

Work Environment

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and dust
