Job description

Woodruff Arts Center employees play an integral role in creating and supporting great art and education initiatives at the nation's third largest arts center. Comprised of three Art Partners-Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art-there's a role for everyone at The Woodruff.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Operations Analyst is a key member of the Alliance Theatre team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, structure, and integrity of education programming data, with a primary focus on Tessitura, TNEW and related ecosystem partners. This role supports the setup, maintenance, and reporting of education programs, including camps, classes, workshops, and community initiatives, while also helping improve digital experiences such as online registration and the customer shopping cart. The individual will collaborate across Education, Finance, and external partners to ensure smooth data operations, reliable reporting, and excellent customer-facing functionality.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday with weekends and after hours as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. TESSITURA DATA & SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
  • Creates and maintains performances, price types, and program structures within Tessitura.
  • Establishes education programs in Tessitura, including camps, classes, TVY performances, Institute programs, partnerships, Alliance@Work, and PNC Playspace programming.
  • Pulls reports, organizes data exports, and develops dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensures clean, accurate data structures and documentation across the system.
  • Serves as an internal resource for Tessitura best practices and workflow optimization.

2. THIRD-PARTY SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
  • Manages setup and ongoing relationship with CampDoc, supporting student information management, registration processes, and system updates.
  • Manages setup and relationship with Queue-It, ensuring smooth virtual waiting room operations for high-demand registration periods.
  • Coordinates integration and data flow between Tessitura and its ecosystem partners.

3. EDUCATION PROGRAM OPERATIONS SUPPORT
  • Collaborates with Education leadership to build, configure, and publish all education programming in Tessitura.
  • Supports scheduling, capacity management, price structures, and program lifecycle updates.
  • Troubleshoots registration issues and provides operational support during program launches.

4. DIGITAL EXPERIENCE & E-COMMERCE SUPPORT
  • Partners with the Manager of Web and Digital Communications to evaluate and improve the website and TNEW integration.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline user pathways and enhance accessibility and clarity for TNEW.
  • Implements updates or tests as needed to support continuous improvement for TNEW.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree in data management, arts administration, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with Tessitura and TNEW required, including experience supporting program setup, reporting, or customer-facing transactions.
  • Intermediate to advanced Tessitura experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with CampDoc, Queue-It, Trello, or similar registration/queue management systems a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience pulling reports and building dashboards.
  • Ability to manage large sets of information with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting online registration, ticketing, or e-commerce workflows preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Background in non-profit or arts organizations beneficial but not required.
  • Proficiency with Excel or other data analysis tools preferred.
