Pay Range: $40/teaching hr + $20/non teaching hr

Your Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a content teacher. As a crucial member of our educational community, the successful candidate will work closely with teachers to create a positive and supportive learning environment for elementary school students in math class. This position involves providing assistance in classroom activities, supporting students by providing feedback and extra practice, and communicate with their parents to provide suggestions.

What You Will Do:

  • Teach AP Calculus and/or AMC 10 classes.
  • Actively engage and manage a classroom of up to 16 students
  • Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and teaching guidance
  • Grade homework and provide other essential teaching-related services
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback
  • Work 12-20 hours per week, primarily during weekends and weekday afternoons

How You Can Be Qualified:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
  • Strong knowledge of Calculus and high school mathematics.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
  • Experience with AP Calculus, AMC, or competition math is a plus.
  • Super passionate about teaching and education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly responsible and love to get along with kids
  • Can commit to at least one whole semester of teaching (Spring semester: Jan - May; Summer: June - Aug; Fall semester: Aug - Dec)
  • Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends

Pay Range:

  • $40/hr (Teaching Fee) + $20/hr (Non-Teaching Fee)
    • Teachers will be assigned 3-8 classes per week
  • Target Commission based on student retention
