As a remote-positioned counselor working in the telehealth setting, you will have the flexibility to manage your work schedule while directly connecting with clients through virtual platforms. • Conduct in-depth assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients to identify their unique needs for both crisis and pre-crisis situations.
• Deliver consultative support in formulating behavioral guidelines and risk assessments, ensuring each client receives personalized and effective care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that complies with regulatory standards, including treatment notes and progress reports.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in conjunction with the clinical team to assess clients' needs continually.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, enhancing client outcomes.

The clients you will serve at Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center vary widely, including individuals grappling with mental health issues, substance use challenges, developmental disabilities, and those recovering from brain injuries. • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is mandatory.
• Eligibility for licensure in the state of Washington is required.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing is necessary for potential client visits or outreach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with diverse clients swiftly.
• A deep sense of empathy and active listening skills, enabling effective guidance throughout the therapeutic process.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities to manage documentation and client needs effectively.

While the primary qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or specialized practices within substance use recovery will be favored. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual client engagement strategies is highly desirable, as it enhances your ability to connect with clients remotely.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year accompanied by an attractive sign-on bonus.
